Clear Application Cache Screen

This screen allows the system user to prevent/allow the mobile user to clear an app's cache. The whitelist is the exception to the blacklist, so if a package name appears in both lists, the whitelist takes priority.

NB. Package name specifications containing Wildcard characters (e.g., “com.xyz.*”) are allowed.

Below is the Clear Cache screen.

Below shows how to add the Amazon app to the Clear cache blacklist. Please note it is the same process for adding apps to the whitelist.

Deselect all apps in the All Apps list under Clear Cache Blacklist. (click th upper most check tick), then select only the Amazon app.

Click the Add Apps Top Clear Cache blacklist button and the following screen will appear.

Click the OK button and the following screen will show that the Amazon app is in the Blacklisted Packages list on the right.
