Restrictions Screen

The Restrictions screen allows the system user to send commands to the device that restrict the mobile user from performing certain software and hardware functionality.

Enable DevReach Removal

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to uninstall the Devreach app.

Allow Mobile Data

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to turn mobile data ON/OFF. Please be aware, if Allow Mobile Data and Allow Wifi are BOTH set to NO and the System user turns off Mobile Data and Wifi from the CONNECTIVITY tab, the device will be unreachable!

Allow Wifi

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to turn Wifi data ON/OFF. Please be aware, if Allow Mobile Data and Allow Wifi are BOTH set to NO and the System user turns off Mobile Data and Wifi from the CONNECTIVITY tab, the device will be unreachable!

Enable Wifi Tethering

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to create a Wifi HotSpot on the device.

Enable Bluetooth

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to turn Bluetooth ON/OFF

Allow AirplaneMode

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to turn Airplane mode ON/OFF

Allow NFC

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to turn NFC ON/OFF

Enable Home Key

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to use the HomeKey

Enable Power Key

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to turn the device OFF

Enable Camera

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to use the Camera app

Allow Microphone

• If set to NO, the mobile user or any app will not be able to use the microphone

Allow OTA OS Upgrade

• If set to NO, the current version of Android running on the device will not be able to upgrade to the next version

Enable Android Browser

• If set to NO, the native browsers on the device will be removed

Enable Android Market

• If set to NO, the Play Store app will be removed

Allow YouTube

• If set to NO, the YouTube app will be removed

Allow App Install By User

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to install any 3rd party apps

Allow App Uninstall By User

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to uninstall any 3rd party apps

Enable Factory Reset

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to perform a factory reset on the device

Enable Google Acc Auto Sync

• If set to NO, Google accounts will not be able to synchronize with the cloud servers

Allow Safe Mode

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to place the device into Safe Mode

Allow Settings Changes

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to use the Settings app

Allow Set Mobile Data Limit

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to set any data limits on the device

Enable Bg Data

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to turn background data on

Allow Lockscreen View

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to use widgets from a locked screen

Enable Automatic Datetime

Enable Device Clipboard

• If set to NO, the mobile user will not be able to use the clipbord copy or paste in any apps
